Cat reacts to DVD player CD tray ejecting!
One of the funniest things about Edgar is the way he reacts when we click the EJECT button on the DVD player. In this video I clicked it 5 times. I added music for effect.

Theme from Al-Mayadeen TV/Cover by Walid Itayim موسيقى تلفزيون الميادين

I am regular viewer of Al-Mayadeen television. Anyone who watches the channel knows that their jingle can get stuck in one's head. So the other day I sat down and recorded my own cover of the jingle. It starts quietly but soon after turns hard with a short rockish guitar solo.

Walid Itayim: Cover of Frank Zappa's Outside Now feat. Cma
Просмотров 78610 лет назад
Outside Now has always been one of my favorite FZ songs and I've been wanting to record a cover of it for a very long time. Very special thanks to Cma for the wonderful vocals and to Munir Khauli for the drum programming and mixing/mastering.
Palestinian children in Syria's Jeramana refugee camp rehearsing for a 2014 Yom al-Ard performance
Просмотров 54610 лет назад
Yom al-Ard - or Land Day - commemorates the day in 1976 when Israel confiscated thousands of dunams of Palestinian land. Like Nakba day, Yom al-Ard is observed by Palestinians in the diaspora and back home each year. The kids had put together their performances at a time when their refugee camp's population had swelled to 4-5 times its size from an influx of displaced Palestinian refugees and S...

We still listening to this 😢
Bird took that famous break, and changed jazz for ever.
*The rubbish about Lennon's anorexia starting with a comment about him being the 'fat' Beatle are ridiculous. I've heard a similar claim for Karen Carpenter's illness starting with a remark about her being the 'chubby' drummer. All speculative nonsense by people assuming they've got a degree or insight into personal psychology. People are too complex for such 'cause and effect' analysis, but people need to sell their wares and come up with whatever they think the public will swallow (unless they're anorexic, of course). I for one believe that Lennon was abducted by aliens and the whole 'Lennon assassination' was a brilliant art statement made by a very clever husband and wife collaboration*

Wonderful and historic performance 👏 by Diz and the great Tonight Show band most respectfully..Vaughn 🎺
5:40 WE COULDNT HEAR HER SCATTING 😩. And I dont know what instrument that is 4:58 I think it's coming from the drums but I love the sound of it.
Phyllis is one in a billion. I’m so devastated that she passed 5 years before I was even born. I would’ve adored her live in person!
What is the Billy holiday song?
Such a jazz legend so sophisticated and beautiful
Born to sing!❤
She was so beautiful and gorgeous , I hate the fact I was born so late and couldn’t have met her or enjoyed a live concert performed by her . R.I.P to a legend
Wow where did you get this clip?
Im that little boy sitting behind the desk at 1:04 and at 1:15 getting out of the car , I was 11 years old , 😭😭😭 I wish I could turn back the clock, now I'm 41 😭😭😭 and my grandpa (RIP)and my dad are olso sitting behind the desk at 1:00 - 1:03 , this is the only song that reminds me of my childhood 😭😭😭...
ربنا يرحمه ويغفر له ويجعل قبره روضة من رياض الجنه ويسكنه فسيح جناته
I love Syreeta’s voice and this song it really has such a feel good charm - I never tire of hearing he sing it ❤
Marvelous, a gem.
Phyllis never got the praise and recognition she deserved. She was one of the best!
Great! Can anyone ID the alto player?
Joel DiBartolo!
I’m a huge Anita baker and Ella Fitzgerald fan but Phyllis transcends allll the stuff you hear about singing. My goodness
Love love this group and this song/album, but tbh this was a bit too "shreddage" for me. Look, we're playing a lot of notes really fast....eh. Gets old when overdone. Do something with a bit more feeling gents.
..."on a tree"!!! the ending Paul does here floored me and ive never been the same....
This is one of the best live displays of Syreeta singing this song. I just love this song and Syreeta’s voice, just wish I was able to have seen her live but alas that shipped sailed a long time ago. ❤
I remeber youtube had a clip of her singing her song constantly off the sweatest days album on this very show performance a very beautiful live version im glad i found this gem from 1994 it was in the fall that year
I miss good female singing like that 😢, so much class and style.

Wow! What a great artist! She's a real musical treasure.
1976 was the most beautiful year my only son was born and i had a nice job real talk
It's going into winter here in Michigan watch out for those popsicles toes lol real talk
Phyllis has such a captivating voice and you can hear with with good headphones. As I get older I have so much more appreciation for old school R&B artists. I often feel like I grew up in the wrong era as I get older 😆
1:55 ..ladies are feeling the groove... deeply..
Brilliant.
Never understood why they deleted this from the original laser disc release. Than, on the DVD release, they added it back in and deleted the Rufus Medley, The Solo Medley and "Dancing in the Streets". Hopefully, we will get the full show remastered on bluray one day.
Sophisticated Ladies
Oooooweeee Anthony Jackson is a killa!
The Andrews Sisters? Never heard of them sorry 😣
صحيح انا سمعت وردة رحمها الله تقول ان ميادة ليست من جيل العمالقة ياالله عالغيرة
I guess Doc was out this night. Snooky was ready to bring them in back in back there. Not enough is ever made about Snooky. Sideman, soloist, could play lead. Do it all. Great performance.
Diz led some of the greatest of the big bands in the history of jazz. He was a great leader and conductor. Snookie played a sizzling lead at the ending of this tune, leading into Diz's cadenza.
Saludos Chaka love preciosa
best beatles cover ever. Chaka is legendary.
When i first heard of Phyllis Hyman i immediately fell in love, such an incredible singer, woman and musician
FIERCE STYLE!!! She ain't missin' NOWHERE!!! Lord rest her blessed soul.
Norfolk State University Marching Spartan Legion Band's MEAC/SWAC Challenge 2024 Halftime Show brought me here! The Legion nailed it! 😊
They should have put her version on waiting to exhale!!
The last 60 seconds of this are crushing, When Anthony cuts loose on this it takes the whole thing to the upper atmosphere. That bass playing is RIGHTEOUS.
They were jealous if her.. .same old. Stuff!!!
Yes. Back Then Many Were.
Duke Ellington loved her!!!
Love Her Outfits!!
i got to see him at the mt hood jazz fest years back
Love to hear a live version of this Great song
